I always hesitate to watch any female YouTube video that is longer than 5 minutes. (No female is ever THAT important to Me. The blunt and brutal truth is that no one is indispensable. A mnemonic to remember the correct spelling of "indispensable" suggested by Norman Lewis in WORD POWER MADE EASY is the sentence: "ABLE men are generally indispensABLE.") NOTE: It seems that Anchor Podcast has now become "Spotify for Podcasters" according to a notice I saw a few minutes ago on Realms Pad; was that why My last two podcasts could not be downloaded on Realme Pad (Tablet)? But I did not see a similar notice on Samsung smartphone. I am in a quandary (that is, I am puzzled, to use simple language). I am faithful and loyal by nature. I don't want to BETRAY anyone, including an app company like Anchor. If Anchor has indeed become "Spotify for Podcasters", then I have no problem switching to Spotify for Podcasters, but I want to be sure about it. I hope this is not a case of a big company gobbling up a poor struggling company. Rich vs. poor case? Is there a catch? Fine print stuff? (I will watch YouTube videos for guidance.) If a published Anchor podcast becomes AUTOMATICALLY available on Spotify, then why should I bother changing to "Spotify for Podcasters"? - I have absolutely no interest in making money from My podcasts - I do podcasting only as a hobby.
If I find that there is a problem with Anchor/Spotify, I can use some other free podcasting app. (I often thought of using Google to attach My podcasts to My blog posts but the method involving Cloud etc. as explained in some YouTube videos seemed too complicated - free Anchor podcasting app is much easier to use. I hate the term RSS, a platform for automatic multiple podcasts. Indian podcasting apps may LACK security and may be vulnerable to "virus" attacks. I don't use Facebook or WhatsApp. Many years ago, I made a Facebook account (and perhaps also a Twitter account but I am not sure; it was many years ago, as I said) ONLY to post online articles from time to time but the maximum number of letters that could be typed was very small - about 140 characters or about 20-30 words - still, I continued for some time with Facebook - BUT when I got an email asking Me if I wanted to be a Facebook friend of a girl of Class 10 and another email asking Me if I wanted to be a Facebook friend of a girl of Class 11, I quit Facebook. "Better safe than sorry." Then luckily for Me, some years ago I learned about and started using the free Google Blogger app for blogging. I was surprised to learn today that journalist Samudragupta Kashyap is now Information Commissioner of Assam - State RTI officer of Assam next to the State Chief Information Commissioner of Assam. (I have related My awesome RTI experience in My blog posts.)
After serving as ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Mathematics and Science (or Workshop Calculations & Science) subject instructor for 8 years in Haflong, and then 10 years in ITI, Guwahati, I was transferred to ITI for Women, Guwahati, but after just a few months of teaching mathematics & science to young girl students taking Draughtsman and Electronics courses at ITI for Women, Guwahati, I was suddenly transferred to ITI, Haflong, by the Director of Employment & Craftsmen Training, Assam. After I joined ITI, Haflong, I filed an RTI application to the RTI officer of the Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training (DECT), Assam, asking for PHOTOCOPIES of the notes in the DECT office file citing the reasons for My sudden transfer to ITI, Haflong. RTI officer Deputy Director (?) Zakir Hussain did not reply for a month. (With My RTI application, I enclosed IPOs for RTI application fee of Rs. 10 plus extra mkney at the rate of Rs. 2 per page for photocopies of the estimated number of pages I wanted). Then I complained to Director Moloy Bora, ACS, RTI Second Appellate, who also did not reply. Then I complained to the State Chief Information Commissioner, Assam, but I did not receive any response. "दाल में कुछ काला है" I was sure. I informed Indian Prime Minister/PMO and Indian President/President's Secretariat. President's Secretariat wrote to the Chief Secretary, Governnent of Assam, telling him IN RED PRINTED WORDS to ask State Chief Information Commissioner, Assam, to hold an RTI grievance hearing. (Chief Information Commissioners are appointed by President of India). I attended the RTI hearing in which Mr. Mushahary, IPS, State Chief Information Commissioner, Assam (he later became the Governor of Meghalaya); Mr. B.K. Gohain, retired IAS (regarded as a fearsome "tiger" "বাঘ" by his junior staff), State Information Commissioner, Assam; Director Moloy Bora, ACS; and RTI officer Deputy Director Zakir Hussain took part. Mr. B.K. Gohain, retired IAS, Information Commissioner, asked Me WHY I ASKED SO MANY QUESTIONS IN My RTI application. I replied ANGRILY: "Is there ANY LIMIT to the NUMBER of questions that can be asked in an RTI application according to RTI Act?" He told Me: "GET OUT!!!" F. Na. sw.!!! I remained defiantly SEATED and I told them that I would REPORT EVERYTHING to the Prime Minister and the President. Chief Information Commissioner Mushahary sent a written order to RTI officer Zakir Hussain to give Me the photocopies I wanted. When I got the photocopies, I was SHOCKED by his TREACHERY. (I think Zakir Hussain is a Na. sw. alias Gandhi alias KrS etc.) I had paid an electrician to repair the FANS that were not working in the Draughtsman class room (it was a very hot summer month), had the tiny BLACKBOARD (placed on a chair) had turned white painted with black paint I bought, had the unstuck LAMINATIONS on the classroom table tops (for keeping large drawing sheets) glued with glue I bought - BUT treacherous Zakir Hussain had written in the office file notes that I had "SPOILED the educational environment" in ITI for Women, Guwahati!!!
Several years ago, soon after sad expiry of My "late" "dad" (not dead) Krishna Sinha RIP (I had shaved My head according to "Hindu" custom and wore a cap), I attended NEWS LIVE "প্ৰেক্ষাপট" interview by Executive Editor f. Na. sw. Zarir Hussain (who is now Editor-in-Chief of NEWS LIVE) on the subject of RTI in Assam, with two other panelists - a retired DC Na. sw. Mr. Barua IAS and journalist Na. sw. Mr. Samudragupta Kashyap - these two kept on saying sheer nonsense like "posts still vacant in the Information Commission office" and other bullshit but I got a chance to speak (in Assamese of course) only for two or three minutes at the end but I blasted with My very fast remarks that Assam was at that time reported to be the most corrupt state in India and that 5000 RTI files in the office of Assam Information Commission in Dispur got burned but the culprits were not caught. After I left the studio of NEWS LIVE where our interview had been recorded to be broadcast a few days later, I wondered if My violent "bombing" would be deleted and not broadcast by NEWS LIVE. My portion was not deleted, and My friendly watchers told Me that what I said in the interview was true and terrific but the other two panelists in the interview spoke nonsense. (Now, after many years since that interview, I suspect that the 3 Na. sw. were Na. chameleons and perhaps f. Na. "reincarnations" of above-mentioned scared gang of Na. sw. Zakir Hussain, Na. sw. B.K. Gohain, IAS, and another Na. sw.)
