I have copies of the Gita, the Ramayan, the Mahabharat, Shrimad Bhagavat, the Bible, the Koran etc. I have bought them for their beautiful language (two copies of the Bible were gifted to Me by a friend - I have about a dozen excellent different translations of the Bible). A self-evident truth is that a written work should be interesting and of high quality and should be heartfelt and authentic. If writing quality is poor, readers will know, and the book won't sell, despite publicity gimmicks. Aim for immortal writing. Aim high. Don't rely only on sex and violence. Try to develop a sincere honest genuine personality - your writing is a reflection of your personality - if you are basically a cheat, you cannot move your readers.

I was deeply moved when a male American guy confessed at the end of his excited talk about "GO SET A WATCHMAN" on YouTube that actually the book he had showed in his video was in fact another book covered by the cover of "GO SET A WATCHMAN" by Harper Lee (the book cover he shows is identical to the book cover on My copy of "GO SET A WATCHMAN" I bought a few years ago from a local bookstore near My house; it was published by WILLIAM HEINEMANN, London/Penguin Random House UK; how did the enthusiastic guy manage to get the cover without getting the book?). I guess I should record in My voice some passages from "GO SET A WATCHMAN" and publish them as Anchor podcasts. (I hope the idea of the "true God" in the very clear NWT Bible translation of JOB as recorded in My last Anchor podcasts #086 and #087 published on April 3, 2021 has SUNK IN by this time. mi TV OK
I am happy to report that My mi TV is OK now - YouTube appears on My mi TV again after a brief temporary absence. (Actually, My mi TV is in My study room, My favourite/favorite room, and LG TV is in the drawing room and used exclusively by My innocent-looking spouse to watch inane Indian TV serials and melodramatic Indian movies on TV, and I displaced her yesterday to watch YouTube videos on LG TV. She watched TV serials etc. on Samsung TV in a third room; I bought the old Samsung TV model many years ago and it is STILL going strong. Long story short, it is now back to square one. - G)
