I found it difficult to understand her talk because it is so diffuse and verbose. Excitement is OK but one's talk or writing should be organized. I wish she would give more details of the printing. If 50 or 100 copies of a book are printed at low cost and then if the book is sold at low price and if the book sells well, more and more copies can be printed and sold. Kate seems to have valuable things to say about her low-cost printing experience, and I hope she will give more details in her future videos on YouTube. Best of luck to Kate and to all other girls who want to self-print their books at low cost. May God bless them. (Is that a joke?) Stick to the title and focus only on those things that are connected to the title. Eschew extraneous matter. (BIG words come to Me automatically.) Freshly edited new versions of the original first edition of a self-published book can be printed taking into consideration helpful book reviews and comments by readers. That is why I said, print a small number of copies at first, then go on increasing the number of copies in the next editions.

My sister followed My advice and bought a computer and an HP black and white LASER printer, got the DTP done, bought packets of paper sheets, and then she SELF-PRINTED the first issue of her magazine very recently. The magazine is beautifully printed (with photos) and the magazine looks as if printed by a printing press! She had the cutting of the printed paper sheets done by a printing press CUTTER and the stapling of magazine copies by staff of a printing press. (She got the articles and poems from the contributors by WhatsApp.) So it CAN BE DONE. Self-printing at home is quite possible. My sister printed 100 copies of the first issue of her magazine. (She also used her daughter's laptop.)

I also have two solved problems books in HBJ COLLEGE OUTLINE SERIES - (1) APPLIED VECTOR ANALYSIS and (2) APPLIED FOURIER ANALYSIS, both by Hwei P. Hsu, University of Evansville - published by HBJ (Harcourt Brace Jovanovich). I wish I had many more HBJ COLLEGE OUTLINES.

I have just heard a short talk on YouTube by Ms. Sahla Parveen advising her listeners to avoid wasting valuable time watching and making TOO MANY TikTok videos and YouTube videos.
TikTok has highly entertaining videos but I am very surprised that Sahla is speaking against TikTok which was forbidden in India long ago (I cannot recall how many months ago) by dry-as-dust guys who don't seem to like CHILDISH entertainment. (My consort who never reads a single book watched TikTok a lot until it got banned in India allegedly because TikTok was used to spy on TikTok users! I did not watch TikTok because I am more interested in serious stuff. As for spying, why should anyone worry if he or she does not have anything to hide? But as to spying, ALL apps in your mobile phone etc. - INCLUDING Google apps - are spying on you continuously, not TikTok alone! TikTok is NOW VERY POPULAR in America!)
I don't know WHY Sahla is so against the EXCESSIVE use of YouTube when she herself uses the free resources of YouTube for her HEARTFELT sermons. If videos are made and uploaded on YouTube to motivate others or oneself, for example videos made by Alka, Priya, Aleena, Sahla herself and many, many other YouTubers, that should be OK. Silly guys uploading silly videos on YouTube just to pass the time should be OK too - you need NOT watch silly YouTube videos if you are SERIOUS like Me.

Looking at the many books on the bookshelf behind her, it is easy to guess that she is getting LOTS* of FREE copies of books - 'complimentary copies' - from LOTS* of authors & publishers to "review" them on YouTube in such glowing terms that all her listeners will want to RUSH to BUY the books advertised by her! The booktube girls do not have to read any of these books - just show great enthusiasm for the books a la movie trailers. I would suggest that after a book has been nicely "reviewed" on YouTube, the "booktuber" girl sell it to Alibris or Better World Books or other sellers of used books - she could donate it to a public library, of course, but I think it is better to sell the book to a seller of used books which look like new, because selling a book would benefit her and the seller of used books financially and would help anyone who is hungry for the book but cannot afford to pay the original price of the book. Also, SELLING the free copies of books she keeps on getting from authors and publishers will create room for more and more free copies of books (plus some cash maybe) sent to her by newbies and by professional authors who want fame and fortune overnight.

Many years ago, I started a Face book account (and also a Twitter account, I think; it was many years ago) to use as a blog though there was only a very limited space - 140 letters, I think - for My pieces. Then I started getting emails asking Me if I would like to become a "Facebook friend" of a Class 11 girl, a Class 12 girl ... I stopped Facebook at once.
